In the early years of my career, I was an art teacher, teaching children in both private and public institutions throughout the Bay Area. After teacher for a number of years, I decided to dive into the tech space booming in the Bay Area and dove onto my career in corporate marketing.
I took a brief break from tech to start a family and decided this was a perfect opportunity to merge these two tracks in my career. I launched my business, Meddle Studio.
Meddle became a creative incubator that offered a range of workshops to inspire both kids and adults in my community. From traditional art forms like painting and drawing to applied arts workshop such as sewing, lighting design, and print making, Meddle Studio provided a dynamic space where creativity could thrive.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Art is a mirror, reflecting ourselves and the world we live in. My goal is to help students feel confident and proud of who they are through the process of making and sharing their art. I'm interested in how my students approach a project, their level of enthusiasm, where they might get stuck, and what they figure out as a result of the process.
I start off each session with an idea and a goal and let the students decide how to carry out their work. I'm there to spark their creativity while providing inspiring materials, technical advice, and gentle encouragement. Small classes enable everyone to feel safe and connected enough to take risks and try something new.
I'm certain my students will love and be proud of what they create during our time together.
